FHP-EX-014 FUND: Exhumations in Serbia and Kosovo

PERIOD: 1999 – 2005

PRIMARY SOURCES: Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade (Serbia), District Court in Belgrade and Municipal Court in Kuršumlija (Serbia), UNMIK, OMPF, ICMP, National Institute of Toxicology in Madrid (Spain), Institute of Forensic Medicine in Niš (Serbia), Coordination Centre of Serbia and Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija (Serbia)

VOLUME AND MEDIUM: 2 archival boxes.

CONTENT: The Fund contains various documents pertinent to the exhumations in Batajnica and Petrovo Selo near Kladovo (Serbia) and several locations in Kosovo, such as archaeological reports on the transfer of bodies, forensic reports and death certificates, as well as other secondary documents of various international organizations.

ORGANIZATION SYSTEM: According to geographical principle,alphabetically, chronologically by date.

The Fund is expected to expand

Reports by the National Toxicology Institute of Madrid, Spainl;
Records and reports byy the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Belgrade, the District Court in Belgrade and the Municipal Court in Kuršumlija, Republic of Serbia – in reference to the transfer of bodies;
Forensic reports – reports on forensic inspections by UNMIK, OMPF;
Death certificates–Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia;
Reports by the International Commission on Missing Persons– archaeological reports on excavations made in Batajnica (June 20th – November 26th, 2002).

Minutes taken by the Serbia and Montenegro and the Republic of Serbia Coordination Centre for Kosovo and Metohija, Republic of Serbia;
Minutes taken at the District Court in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia, on the transfer of identified mortal remains to the Coordination Centre for Kosovo and Metohija.
