Kosovo Memory Book

The Kosovo Memory Book is a memorial dedicated to victims of war crimes, individuals who perished during combat, and those who were forcibly disappeared between January 1, 1998, and December 31, 2000, in Kosovo, during the armed conflict between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia and the Yugoslav Army on one side, and the Kosovo Liberation Army on the other. The database of victims, maintained by the Humanitarian Law Center and the Humanitarian Law Center Kosovo, contains 42,819 documents about 13,625 individuals killed or missing in connection with the war in Kosovo.

The Kosovo Memory Book 1998 includes the names and circumstances of individuals who lost their lives or were forcibly disappeared during the war in Kosovo, from January 1 to December 31, 1998.

The Kosovo Memory Book 1998-2000, titled “Dignity for the Missing,” contains the names and circumstances of the disappearance of 1,636 individuals who are still considered missing from the armed conflict in Kosovo.
