Presentation of the Dossier on “125th Motorized Brigade of the Yugoslav Army”

The Humanitarian Law Center will present its Dossier on “The 125th Motorized Brigade of the Yugoslav Army” (Dossier) on Friday, October 11th, 2013 at 13:30. The Dossier presents the operation of this Yugoslav Army unit during the war in Kosovo and the crimes committed in  this unit’s zone of responsibility, where 1,813 Kosovo Albanian civilians were killed, 216 of whom are still registered as missing. None of the perpetrators of these war crimes have been prosecuted to date.

The document was created on the basis of the statements given by survivors, victims’ family members, military documents, forensic reports, testimonies of YA soldiers and officers given before the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and other relevant material.

The conference will be organized at the Main Hall of the Media Centre in Belgrade, Terazije 3, II floor.

Milica Kostić, Legal Analyst, Humanitarian Law Center

Maliq Kryeziu, witness of the crime in Kraljan /Kralan, (Municipality of Đakovica/Gjakovë) on April 3rd, 2013.

Nemanja Stjepanović, a SENSE Agency journalist

Simultaneous interpretation to English provided.
