Students from Preševo, Bujanovac, and Priština visited the Humanitarian Law Center on Friday, December 21st, 2012. These students attend the Young Leaders Schoolorganized by the Youth Initiative for Human Rights. During the study trip to Belgrade, these young individuals had an opportunity to learn more about the wok of civil society organizations, institutions, cultural centres, and the media.
History of the HLC and pending projects were presented to the students. They were mostly interested in the Kosovo Memory Book and the process of the verification of the information obtained in the field and the data archiving. NatašaKandićspoke about the need of the societies to deal with the burden of the past and the necessity to trigger a dialogue about the things that happened during the nineteen nineties on the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
